Making cities smarter.
A smart city is a vision for a settlement that combines information and communication technologies, and IoT solutions in order to manage the city's assets, including: local information systems, schools, libraries, transportation systems, hospitals, power plants, water transmission infrastructure, garbage, law enforcement and other community services.
SMBIT is a multidisciplinary player that helps cities deploy the necessary solutions in order to realize the smart city vision.
IoT sensor package based on loRa for a smarter, Safer and more efficient working environment
SMBIT's IoT sensors include sensors, buttons and switches which are added to the existing infrastructure in the organization very easily.
The series of sensors are based on LoRa technology, a wireless data link protocol, reliable and with low power consumption that allows for cheap and negligible maintenance (for example: sensor battery replacement only once every 5 years).
Based on this technology, the sensors are installed in a wide layout and cover large areas (up to 10 km per set of sensors), which help to better manage the work environment and make it smarter, safer and more efficient.
Another feature is a central management system called EkronWIDE that brings together all the sensors (and even other infrastructure components) and enables management and control from a single interface about the diverse fields of activity in the work environment.
